OBITUARY Hans “John” Resch September 2, 1941 – October 20, 2018 Hans “John” “Butch” Resch passed away on October 20, 2018. He was born September 2, 1941 in NY. John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Toni Resch; 4 children, Tracey A., John C., Todd W., and Robert J.; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and his sister, Madeline.

Hans was a retired Suffolk County NY Detective, a NYC Sheet Metal Worker, and a USF Police Officer. A Memorial Mass for John will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church; 833 Magellan Dr., Sarasota, FL 34243. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL or to Wounded Warriors Project.
