Obituary for Hardin Edward “June” “O G Spoon” Weatherspoon WEATHERSPOON, Mr. Hardin Edward “June” “O G Spoon” – Age 58, passed away Monday December 3, 2018 at McLaren Oakland Hospital. Family hour 1:30PM Friday, December 14, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral services commencing immediately at 2:00PM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and Pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30PM Friday.

Mr. Weatherspoon will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 3:00-8:00PM Thursday. Mr. Weatherspoon leaves to cherish his memory: children, Tanika Harris, Charles Weatherspoon and Charmaine Weatherspoon; step-children, Juwan Hawkins and Kawesie Manley; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Charlene Weatherspoon, Patricia Weatherspoon-Matthews, Rosetta, Marsha and Anthony Weatherspoon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. Weatherspoon was preceded in death by his son, Hardin Harris; parents, Hardin Edward Weatherspoon, Sr and Dorothy Weatherspoon; grand-daughter, Alayah Weatherspoon; brothers, Charles Kent, Dwight and Lesalie Weatherspoon; niece, Crystal Weatherspoon.
