Harley’s Obituary Harley John Matlock, Sr., 70, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Sabine County Hospital. Harley was born on November 14, 1948 in Mack’s Creek, Missouri to Louia Calvin Matlock and Betty Young Matlock. He worked in the construction field as a carpenter.

He is survived by his son, Harley John Matlock, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, of Taylor’s Landing, Texas; Amber Peveto and husband, R. C., of Orange, Texas; brothers, Charley Matlock of Mack’s Creek, Missouri and Roy Matlock and wife, Amy, of McKinney, Texas; and grandchildren, Kristen Sims, James Sims, Colten Peveto, Madison Peveto, Ashleigh Matlock, Crystal Matlock, Ricky Matlock and Taylor Matlock.
