Obituary for Harley L. Holland Jr. Harley L. Holland, Jr., of Royse City, TX, passed away April 9, 2018, at the age of 81. He was born August 13, 1936, in Chandler, TX, to Harley L. Holland, Sr., and Ada (Clayton) Holland. Harley was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a member of the rifle team where he was an expert sharp shooter.

Harley is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Patsy Holland; children: Vicki Terry and husband Howard, Connie Barksdale and husband Derrell, Gary Holland and wife Tracy; grandchildren: Grant Terry, Madison Terry, Brooklyn Collins and husband Blake, Hunter Barksdale and wife Kaylee, Lacey Holland, Holton Holland, Houston Holland and Hannah Holland; great grandchildren: Macey and Brylie McBride; and sister: Nelda Belcher; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, LaVonne Jones. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, April 13, 2018, at Higher Trails Cowboy Church located at 5544 FM 903, Celeste, TX 75423.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, 75211. A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday evening at The Gathering Place at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Upcoming Events Gathering 2018 APR 12.
