Harold A. Zinser of Harrison, passed away on March 18, 2019 at the age of 91. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Louis J. and Mathilda O. (nee Flohr) Zinser. Harold married Dorothy Jenkins on August 20, 1949 and they were blessed with 8 children: Charles, Steven, Cathy, Timothy, Gail, Bonnie, Joseph, and Terry.

He worked for Proctor & Gamble as a line worker. Harold served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II era. He enjoyed fishing, watching the horses run, coin collecting and was a long distance runner until he was 71.

Harold was a devoted to his family and his church. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife: Dorothy Zinser; beloved children: Charles J. (Linda) Zinser, Steven H. (Linda) Zinser, Cathy (Todd) Westrich, Timothy E. (Julie) Zinser, Gail A. Zimmerman, Bonnie (Douglas) DeMoss, Joseph M. Zinser and Terry W. (Mary) Zinser; loving grandfather of 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brother of Violet J. Waigand; as well as many nieces and nephews. Harold is preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Mathilda Zinser; his siblings: Dorothy Puccini, Jean Dykes, Joseph H. Zinser, Louis J. Zinser and Helen Nuesse; son in law: Robert Zimmerman.

Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2019 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM at First Baptist Church, 119 S. Hill Street, Harrison, OH. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Cemetery with military honors provided by Harrison Honor Guard. Memorials are requested to Cancer Free Kids of Cincinnati through the funeral home.
