Harold Hamilton, 90, of Atwood IL, formerly of Urbana passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February, 19, 2019 at his home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory in Urbana. Harold was born on March 22, 1928 in Janesville, IL to parents Clarence and Mary (Parton) Hamilton.

They preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his daughter Collette, seven sisters and one brother. On June 27,1948 Harold married Joyce M. Allen in Windsor, IL, she passed away on February 17, 2017.

He is survived by his children; Dennis (Norma) Hamilton of Champaign, Jim (Melinda) Hamilton of Newman and Jeff (Becky Alexander) of Atwood. Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and his son- in- law Dan Meredith also survive him. Harold stayed active in his church, Champaign Church of Christ as long as he could.

He loved cooking for large groups, especially at the church. He also loved trains and working on his model train set. Memorial Contributions may be made to Carle Hospice.
