RANTOUL, IL- Howard Lee Ash, 67, of Rantoul, IL, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Rantoul, IL A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd. , Urbana, IL, with burial to follow at Danville National Cemetery, Danville, IL. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the memorial service (9:00AM-10:00) at the funeral home.

Howard was born June 15, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Clifford H. and Ethel(Nolan) Ash. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Ash of Rantoul, IL and Donna Ash of New Orleans, LA; Four grandchildren, Savannah, Kayeza, Gabreil, and Christopher; One brother, James(Patricia) Ash of Urbana, a sister, Helen Ash-Muehl of Columbia, MO, and a niece, Christina Schable of Mahomet, IL. Howard served in the United States Air Force and worked as a mechanic for Country Tyme Lanes in Rantoul.

Howard supported the V.F.W. and enjoyed bowling and coaching bowling. Howard loved his grandchildren very much. Memorials may be made to USBC Youth Bowling.
