Harold Pomykal February 03, 1935 – February 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Harold Pomykal, age 84 of Troy, went to his eternal home to be with his loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the evening hours of February 14, 2019. Harold Alvin Pomykal was born February 3, 1935 in Lott, Texas to Benjamin and Grace Rector Pomykal. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Glenda Pomykal, two brothers Donald Pomykal and Grady Pomykal (Pat), daughter Melenda Pomykal, a daughter Lenda Crawford (Greg), a son Harold Pomykal (Carol), his grandchildren, Jenna Crawford, Katelen Sharp (Cody), Kara Chen (Daniel), Gregory Crawford, Garrett Gage (Jordan), Colton Pomykal, and one great grandchild, Jameson Sharp.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Juanita Barganier (Bill). Harold was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Troy, where he served as Deacon. A man of few words, his life depicted his most cherished Bible verse, Proverbs 25:11, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver”.

His life was richly blessed as a result of innumerable friendships within the church and community. Deepest gratitude to all of you who contributed to his remarkably full life and countless treasured memories. The family would like to thank Scott and White Hospital staff for their exceptional and diligent care, as well as the Scott and White Hospice team for their compassionate support and kindness.

A private family funeral service will be held, officiated by Pastor Greg Crawford.
