Mr. Harold Ronald Toney of Hartsville passed away at his home on Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born on February 13, 1952 and is the son of the late Jake Toney and Hilda Lincoln. Harold was raised under the love and Godly direction of his grandmother, the late Lizzie Tedder Lincoln.

Harold attended the Darlington County public schools and spent most of his life working with the local farmers. More recently, he worked as a contractor serving the Sonoco Old Timers Club with many of their member events under the direction of Brenda Funderburk. He was very special to all of them.

Harold was a good man, happy, and was always willing to help wherever he could. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charlie Toney and one sister Mary Toney. To cherish his memory, Harold is survived by three brothers; David Toney of Hartsville, SC, Herbert Toney of Darlington, SC and Curtis Toney of CT; three sisters; Bonita and Brenda Toney both of Connecticut and Geraldine Wright of Hartsville, SC.

Others left to treasure his memory are three sons and one daughter, several grandchildren and great-grands, ex-wife Beverly Cotton Toney Howard, and special friends who were like family, Abby and Brenda Funderburk.
