Harriet Halpin 89 of Staunton passed away Friday March 1, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. She was born Jan 11, 1930 in Chicago IL, her parents were John and Augusta (Kowsoski) Slusarek and step father John Kilduff. She was a nurse’s aide in Staunton Community Memorial Hospital.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a past member to the Staunton VFW. She enjoyed going shopping, spending time with her family and friends and flower gardening. She was married to Robert Johnson, then to Ivan Halpin.

She is survived by two children Dennis (Amy) Johnson of Dekalb IL and Starla (Mike) Agers of Mt. Olive, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands one half-son Gary McReaken one son Robert Johnson Jr., one granddaughter Katherine Rose Johnson, one great grandchild Kenneth R. Hose five brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
