Obituary for Harris H. Burke Harris H. Burke, 83, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his residence in Culpeper surrounded by his family. He was born January 2, 1935 in Rappahannock County to the late Gladys Mary and Charles J. Burke. Harris is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ruth Burke; children, Patricia L. Pickett of Amissville, Melinda B. Irwin and husband, Donnie of Culpeper Leitha B. Atkins and husband, Briant of Rhoadsville, and Michael J. Burke and wife, Kimberly of Culpeper; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Phillip W. Burke, Sr. and son in law, Roger Pickett. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Ron Young officiating Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
