Obituary for Harry E. Killian Harry E. Killian of Croydon passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at ManorCare Health Services. He was 99 years old. Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Croydon for the last 69 years.

Harry worked as a sheet metal worker for Badenhousen & Riley Stoker for over 17 years. He was a proud US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Joseph A. Schumacher, VFW Post#1597 and an usher at St. Thomas Aquinas Church for over 50 years.

Harry was a very active community member throughout his life, coaching youth baseball in the Frankford section of Phila as well as in Croydon. Harry himself was a talented baseball player, playing at Fort McLane during his military service years and prior to that, a tryout with the Philadelphia A’s at the age of 17. He will be sadly missed by his two loving sons: Harry F. Killian and George Mayberry (Evelyn).

Harry is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM. Interment East Cedar Hill Cemetery.
