A graveside service for Mr. Himelright will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Gravel Springs Cemetery with Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating.

Mr. Himelright was born in Frederick County, Virginia on October 2, 1943 a son of the late Ruth Himelright Heltzel and a member of Gravel Springs Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ann Smedley Himelright of Strasburg, VA; two step children, Lorrie Thompsen Andrews of Front Royal, VA and Rois S. Thompsen of Strasburg, VA; four step grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Nathan and Taylor; one half brother, Gerald Wayne Himelright of CA; his aunt, Madge Hensen along with many friends and numerous cousins. Memorials may be made to Gravel Springs Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 116, Star Tannery, VA 22654.
