Harry W. Cooper, 92, of Cabot passed away on December 17, 2018 at his home. Born October 26, 1926 in Cabot, PA, he was the son of James Cooper and Pearl Shimmel Cooper. Harry served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as an airplane mechanic.

He worked as a Die Maker for Du-Co Ceramics retiring in 1991 after 32 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sarver. He enjoyed gardening, growing strawberries, going to Lernerville.

He was an avid Pirates, Penguins and Steeler Fan. He loved ducks and especially enjoyed being with family. Surviving are his children Debra (Kevin) Steele of Cabot, Bruce (Pat) Cooper of Cabot, Keith Cooper of Easley, SC, Patricia (John) Baker of Butler, Vickie Cooper of Cabot, 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Jerin, Crystal, Trever and Rachelle and 2 great-grandchildren, Charity and Blake.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joan Irene Cooper, 2 brothers, James & Charles Cooper and 2 sisters Carrie Sweeny and Mae Kettering. Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA. Services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018, 11:00 am at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sarver, with Rev.

Shawn Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 409 Sarver Road, Sarver, PA 16055 or the Good Samaritan Hospice 134 Marwood Road Cabot, PA 16023.
