Haywood Cornett, 65, of Linefork passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Tri Cities Nursing Home in Cumberland, Kentucky. Haywood was the son of Reo Halcomb Cornett of Linefork and the late Jason Cornett. Surviving other than his mother is 5 brothers: Arthur Bee Cornett of Gordon, Emory Cornett of Butlerville, Indiana, Roy Cornett of Linefork, Timothy Cornett of Linefork, Jason Cornett Jr. of Butlerville, Indiana; 4 sisters: Priscilla Boggs of Cowan, Vivian Combs of Linefork, Gracie Halcomb of Linefork, and Nervesta Boggs of Cowan; special childhood friend: Jackie Cornett Bowers of Watauga, Texas.

Haywood was preceded in death by 1 brother: Major Cornett; 1 sister: Ada Cornett. Funeral: 11:00 O’clock A.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Hurricane Gap Church with Charlie Shepherd and Clyde Bentley officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Hurricane Gap Church.

Burial will follow in the Cornett Cemetery at Linefork, Kentucky.
