Helen Corene Byassee Vaughn Shell, 85 of Clinton, formerly of Columbus, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Clinton Place in Clinton, KY. She was a member of the former Clinton Church of Christ and retired seamstress at Garan. She is survived by 4 children, Mickey (Jackie) Pewitt of McKenzie, TN, Tammy (Ricky) Wooten of Columbus, Ricky (Sandra) Vaughn of Columbus and Samuel “Sambo” Vaughn of Nashville, TN, 4 grandchildren, Jacqueline (Kendall) Sanders, Elisha (Jay) Hall, Cory Vaughn and Courtney (Jeremy) Owens, and 6 great grandchildren, Josie & Rush Sanders, Corbin Hall, Taylor Vaughn, and Max & Mason Owens.

Her parents were Cecil and Mary Autrey Byassee. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Sammy Vaughn, second husband, Eddie Shell, an infant daughter, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and an infant brother. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Zion Cemetery.
