A memorial gathering for Helen E. Oquist of Albert Lea, MN, will be held from 9 until 11 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Albert Lea. Helen died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Albert Lea Good Samaritan Home in Albert Lea. She was 84 years of age.

Helen was born January 2, 1935 in Ladysmith, WI, the daughter of Jim and Ella (Pitzner) Hall. Helen had been employed for many years at the Albert Lea Land-O-Lakes. She enjoyed hardanger at First Lutheran Church, knitting, cross stitch and working cross word puzzles, camping and traveling to Texas in the winter.

Helen is survived by her sons Toby (Julie) Oquist of Ellendale, MN, Tracy (Rhonda) Oquist of Clarks Grove, MN, grandchildren Morgan, Otto, Atom, Tanner and Erica, great grandchildren Axl and Ella and two sisters-in-law Donna Hall of Delavan, MN, and Pat Hall of Albert Lea, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, and brothers Wally, Arnie and Alvin.
