Known for taking care of everyone, she will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She found comfort in her Catholic faith and attended the Holy Family Catholic Church. Surviving Helen are her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Barry Leonard, grandson, Brad (Hieu) Leonard, and great-grandchildren Ethan and Kaylie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, sisters, Margaret, Mary, Anna, Katherine, Irene, and Agnes, and brother, George. Friends will be received Saturday from 10-12, when a blessing service will be held at the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave. New Brighton, PA 15066, with Father Tom Kredel officiating.

Private interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St # 105, Cardelllo Building, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
