Helen Lorine Letchworth March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Helen Lorine Letchworth, 82, of Weldon passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Liberty Commons. Helen was born January 26, 1937 in Halifax County to the late George Washington Dunston and Susie Johnson Dunston Clark. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Phil Farrell; her great grandchildren, Emily and Luke McDermott, and six sisters.

Helen was quite a character and free willed to speak her mind. She kept up with all the happenings at the nursing home and in the community. Helen is survived by her children, Judy Farrell and her husband Philip, Glenn Letchworth both of Roanoke Rapids and Terry Letchworth and his wife Wilma of Jacksonville, NC; her sister, Linda Ross and her husband Ronnie of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Kimberley McDermott and her husband Paul, Lacy Sanders and her husband Chris, Jessica Letchworth and Brian Letchworth; her great-granddaughter, London Sanders and a special niece, Joan Garvey.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 11, 2019 at Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Chris Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of her daughter, Judy Farrell.
