Obituary for Helen Marie Brock Helen (Thomas) Brock passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. She was born October 14, 1921 in Okmulgee to the late Denny and Lula (Greenhaw) Thomas. Helen was a graduate of Okmulgee High School.

She married Clifford Harrison Brock on January 23, 1942 in Okmulgee. She worked for many years at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital in administration and later worked at Rebold Manor for over 20 years. Helen was a longtime member of the Okmulgee Pony Girls and active participant in the Kitchen Band.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Helen cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, husband, son, Clifford “Tom” Brock, brothers Bob Thomas and Benny Thomas, and sisters Leota Markham, Dorothy Holland and Cleota Hoffmeister.

Survivors include her daughter, Terri Bridges and husband Mike of Mounds, grandchildren, Brandie Bell and husband Brett of Glenpool and Brooke Pingelton and husband Kevin of Alva, Charles Brock and wife Kimberly of Thompson Station, Tennessee and Wade Brock and wife Kristen of Westfield, Massachusetts, great grandchildren, Jordan, Sydnie, Cameron and Aubree Brock, Wendy and Brody Shouse, and Gunner and Coy Pingelton, great great granddaughter, Chloe Shouse, sister, Doe Dooley of Okmulgee and brother, Denny Thomas of Okmulgee and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Hamilton officiating. A reception will follow in the McClendon-Winters Life Celebration Center.

Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clarehouse in Helen’s memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
