OBITUARY Helen Marie Mathias September 24, 1935 – September 2, 2018 H. Marie Mathias, 82, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on September 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mathias. She was a lifelong member of Grace Baptist Church, a devoted Christian and a loving mother, wife and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Mathias (Janet); her daughters, Debbie Smoot (Bobby), and Bonnie Cross (John); grandchildren, Sherry, Kristie, Amy, Joshua, Jason, Samantha, Kaitlin and Austin; and six great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd. , Williamsburg, VA.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 7 at 11am at Grace Baptist Church, 1013 Penniman Rd, Williamsburg, VA. Interment will be held at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr., Williamsburg, VA. A reception will follow.
