HAMILTON – Helen Roth Logan, 94, of Hamilton and Missoula, passed away Wednesday, May 02, 2018 at Valley View Estates in Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on June 22, 1923 to Joseph and Margaret Roth, the oldest of nine children. Helen graduated from Corvallis High School in 1941 and was the medical records librarian at Galen State Hospital for 30 years before retiring to Missoula.

While working in medical records she took many continuing education classes. On October 2, 1966 she married Everett Logan and they later moved to Missoula. Following his death, Helen lived at the Village Senior Residence for 10 years.

Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe, George, Pete and Gordon; and sisters, Ann and Louise. She is survive by her brother, James (Bonnie) Roth of Hamilton; sister, Josephine Hellman of Havre; step-son, John Logan; step-grandson, Franklin Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home’s community room.

Burial will take on Wednesday, May 9 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Missoula. The family suggests that memorials be made in Helen’s name to Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice (1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT 59840) or to Valley View Estates (225 N. 8th St., Hamilton, MT 59840).
