Helen Treasure Hieb, 94, of Twin Falls, passed away April 18, 2018 at Chardonnay Assisted Living Center in Twin Falls after a long and wonderful life. She was born July 17, 1923 in Milo, Idaho. Helen was the second child of Lue and Catherine Treasure and had two brothers and two sisters.

Helen was raised on a farm during the depression and learned to work hard. She graduated from Midway High School in 1941 and went on to become a registered nurse which she practiced for over 40 years. Helen served in the U.S. Army in 1945 as a Second Lieutenant.

Helen married Stan Curfew, they were later divorced, and they had two sons, Dennis and Kelly. Kelly passed away in 1966 and Dennis passed away in 2009. Helen loved her two sons more than anything.

In 1968 Helen married Alfred Hieb, Al passed away in 2012. They built a home on the Jerome Golf Course and had many wonderful years together golfing and traveling the world with friends. Helen was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lee; and sisters, Audrey and Mary. She is survived by her brother, Ray of Vancouver Washington; step-sons, Roger (Sandy) Hieb of Lakewood, Washington; Chris (Sherry) Hieb of Phoenix, Arizona; and Larry (Sharon) Hieb of Twin Falls, Idaho; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Helen was a wonderful lady with a great sense of humor and was loved by all that knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Chardonnay Assisted Living center for their many years of compassionate service and care. The family would also like to thank Doctor Lisa Burgett who went above and beyond to care for Helen. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2680 Elizabeth Blvd.

, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301 with viewing beginning at 10:00 am. Graveside Dedication will follow at 2:30pm, at Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Helen’s memorial webpage at www.
