Obituary for Henrietta Corena “Henny Penny” Goodson GOODSON, Mrs. Henrietta Corena “Henny Penny” – age 77, passed away, Monday, May 28, 2018 at her residence. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, June 2, 2018 from Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida St., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Douglas P. Jones, Officiating.

Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday. Mrs. Goodson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St. and may be viewed from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday. Mrs. Goodson leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Derick (Rebecca) Rogers and Kevin S. Goodson (Antionette Johnson); sister, Barbara Jean Rogers-Landry; brother, Louis (Gloria) Rogers; grandchildren, Jade Danyelle Goodson, Jalen Rogers and Brionna Rogers; great grand daughter, Autumn Sage and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Goodson was preceded in death by her parents, Cora M. and Henry Edward Rogers; brothers, William C. Rogers and James Edward Rogers.
