Mrs. Henrietta Crosby Brammer, 80, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday morning, July 27, 2018, following an extended illness at the Hilton Head Hospital. She was the loving wife of fifty-six years to the late Chief Master Sergeant Theodore Swanson Brammer, Sr. Born January 1, 1938, in Bluffton, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Crosby Brown and the late James W. Brown. She and her late husband returned and made Walterboro their home in August of 1980, following his distinguished career in the United States Air Force.

She retired from the Preschool at Edgewood Baptist Church where she was an assistant teacher. She was a member of North Walterboro Baptist Church and was formerly a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where she was active with the Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and the Church Choir. While in Germany, she was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star.

Her life was serving the Lord and her heart was the happiest when she was teaching children. She enjoyed annual trips to Pigeon Forge in the Great Smoky Mountains and watching birds. Surviving are: a son, Theodore Swanson Brammer, Jr. and his wife Allison S. Brammer of Hilton Head; two daughters, Debra Brammer Hanna and her husband The Reverend Dr. Gary W. Hanna of Aiken and Donna Brammer McJunkin and her husband Randal Thomas McJunkin of Irmo; a brother, David Crosby of Bluffton; and two sisters, Ellen Crosby and Jo Barber of Walterboro.

There are seven grandchildren, Joshua Hanna and his wife Rebecca, Adrienne Hanna, Randal McJunkin, Jr., Tech Sergeant Adam McJunkin, Cole Brammer, Caroline Brammer and Collins Brammer and two great grandchildren, Riley and Reese Hanna that also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Crosby and Paul Crosby; and a sister, Gladys Padgett. Flowers will be accepted, or for those who wish, the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions may be directed in her memory to the following: North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or to, Freedom Biker Church, 11871 Main Street, Williston, South Carolina 29853.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, August 1, 2018 from North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro with The Reverend Godfrey Ritter and The Reverend Dr. Gary Hanna officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation this Tuesday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at THE BRICE W.
