Henry R. Stoudermire affectionately known as H.R.S., Hank and Robert was born on April 15, 1936, in Autaugaville, Alabama. Henry was the oldest of five children born to the union of Elizabeth and Willie Stoudermire. As the oldest, Henry has always taken the role as the leader of his family.

He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Big Spring Baptist Church. In 1956, Henry graduated from Autauga County Training School and enlisted in the United States Navy the same year. After his honorable discharge, he decided to move to Cleveland, Ohio and after 7 years of working at area hospitals he realized this was not enough for him.

He noticed successful African American Real Estate Agents and Brokers and decided to try a new career. Henry was committed and ready to try. Because Henry emerged from humble beginnings, in spite of being raised as the son of a sharecropper and bootlegger from Autaugaville, Alabama, Henry worked hard to become a Master Broker and Builder of a Legacy.

Since 1960, Henry has helped thousands of buyers and sellers with their real estate needs which he took great pride. Because of his effervescent personality and altruistic heart, generations of families to this day patronize and trust their real estate needs to Henry. Many had their dreams of being homeowners fulfilled by Henry.

From the rural, humble beginnings in Alabama emerged one of the greatest Real Estate Professionals in Northeast Ohio. In addition to the responsibilities of being a full time Broker and Past President of McMullan Realty, Inc., Henry also made time to accomplish the following: Served on The Real Estate Education and Advisory Committee for the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate Past President and Past Chairman of The Ohio Association of Real Estate Brokers Past President and Past Chairman of The Cleveland Realtist Association Past advisory to The Cleveland Realtist Association Anti-Predatory Lending Task Force Past Regional Vice President and Past Vice Chair of The National Association of Real Estate Brokers Served on the Faith Community United Credit Union Real Estate Loan Committee. After years of dating on September 27, 1980 he was united in holy matrimony to Tommye.

They were united for 38 years. During these years they have shared the journey of life. Henry believed in the unity of family.

It was very important to keep family close and aware of life situations. He took pride in educating the younger generation of the facts of life and our history. His loyalty to his family resulted in a number of family members following in his footsteps.
