OBITUARY Henry R Vogt Jr. October 19, 1926 – October 10, 2018 Henry R. Vogt Jr. passed away on October 10, 2018 at the age of 91. Henry is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty B. Vogt; parents Henry R. Vogt, Sr. and Thelma Goodyear Vogt; brother Irvin Oliver Vogt. He is survived by his children Henry Richard Vogt III (Aline), Steven Keith Vogt (Janis) and Lesley Vogt Chappuis (Jack) ; grandchildren Richard B. Vogt (Kenzie) and Rory Chappuis; sister-in-laws Joy Vogt and Joyce Bosch; nieces and nephews Lori Petitclerc (Tim), Gary Vogt (Kerry), Mark Vogt (Sandy), Scott Vogt, and Beth Gilliland (Jimmy) as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to St. Tammany Hospice, especially Paula Guillot; devoted caregivers Betty Leon and Diane Leon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00pm at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 1230 S. Carrollton Ave. , New Orleans LA 70118.

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the mass at Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Savannah Smiles 985-690-7444 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 800-822-6344.
