Herm “Mangie” Sasseen, 52, of Beloit, WI, died suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born May 19, 1966 in Omaha, NE, the son of Laura K. Booth. Herm was a 1984 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

He married Dana R. Gaede on October 24, 2016. Herm was employed by the Bricklayer Union. He enjoyed listening and playing music, cooking, fishing, animals and being with friends.

Herm was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife, Dana Sasseen of Beloit, WI, daughter, Amber Greenlee of South Beloit, IL; step daughter, Sara (Emmanuel) Rivera of Beloit, WI; step son, Cole Page of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Phoenix, Jaxon, Lilliana, Savannah, Jazlynn, Jalissa and Ashton; brother, Dennis Sasseen of Beloit, WI; nephew, Cory Sasseen of Beloit, WI; niece, Brianna Graves of Janesville, WI; special friends, Jeff, Kenny, Brian, Tommy and many more; and his beloved cat, Benny. He was predeceased by his mother, son Bryce, step daughter Carlie Page, sister Denise and his dog Chopper.

A Visitation of Remembrance for Herm will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name.
