OBITUARY Hilda “Irene” Moser September 22, 1935 – October 26, 2018 Irene Moser, 83, Blue Springs, MO. formally of Jamesport, MO. and Kansas City, MO.

passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018. Irene was born Nov.

22, 1935 in Tunas, MO. to Roscoe and Alta Mae (Tucker) Williams. She married Joseph B. Moser on Nov.

5, 1955 in Kansas City, MO. throughout the early years; she was a stay at home mom, actively involved in all our school and extracurricular activates. Mom worked at Lee Wards, Independence, MO before moving to Jamesport, MO.

(1991) to fulfill Dad’s dream of retiring to a farm. After Dad’s passing (1992) Mom chose to stay in her new farm house. Mom was commonly known as “The Church Lady” in Jamesport for always lending a helping hand and for many Church/Funeral dinners served.

The past 4 years Mom has lived in assisted living at Benton House, then at St. Mary’s Village. She was loved by all who met her, and lived her life for those she loved! A Going Home Celebration will be held Thursday, at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

A private family interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race… Irene was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brother, Leo and many lifelong Friends! She is survived by her children; Nanette (Jerry) Dechant, Cheryl (Bruce) Kerfeld, Joseph M. Moser, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.

She’s also survived by her sister, Helen, brother, James; numerous nieces, nephews, extended Family and dear Friends! In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to American Heart Associates. Thank you to the staff of Benton House, St. Mary’s Village & Asana Hospice for their loving care/compassion, and to Mom’s resident friends for all the movies, card games, and friendships shared.
