Hilda’s Obituary Hilda Lahr, 92 of Nazareth, PA. formerly of Lower Nazareth Twsp. , PA.

passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born December 24, 1926 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren W. Siegfried and the late Esther Mae (Fisher) Siegfried. She was the wife of the late Chester C. Lahr who passed away in March 2014.

Hilda was last employed as Church Secretary for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Hecktown for 12 years before retiring in 1992. A longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hecktown, PA. , where she also served as past Treasurer for 10 years.

She was a member of Hecktown Vol. Fire Co.- Women’s Auxiliary and served as past Membership Director. Surviving are sons, Terry C. Lahr and wife Michelle (Sloyer) of Stroudsburg, PA and Bruce P. Lahr and wife Sharon (Konya) of Bangor, PA; sister; Mrs. Virginia Bakos of Wind Gap, PA, brothers, Leonard V. Siegfried of Bethlehem, PA and Ernest G. Siegfried and wife Debra of Bethlehem, PA; 5 Grandsons; Jesse and wife Kimberly, Christopher and wife Stacey, Stefan, Jonas, and Matthew; 5- Great – Grandchildren; Katelyn, Jarret, Eamon, Anderson, and Everett.

She was predeceased by daughter, Denise Lahr in 1957, brothers, Harold and Walter Siegfried, and sisters, Lois Ann, and Mildred Arndt. A Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street Nazareth, PA. 18064 with the Rev.

Dr. Christian Eichorn officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Lower Nazareth Twsp.
