Hilda R Merrell, 92, mother of Sharon Switalski and Nancy Hutches entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 15. She was born Dec.

30, 1926, a native of Mortons Gap, KY and daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Knight. Hilda was a retired LPN and had been a caregiver for many years. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church, loved her pets, doing needlework and crossword puzzels.

Have a love for playing card she became a will know bridge player in the Lexington Duplicate Bridge Club and the Madisonville Duplicate Bridge Club. In addition to her daughters she is survived by Paul Daniel Merrell father of her children and his wife Jean Grows Merrell. a sister Anna Ginger, grandchildren Liesel Ryan, Taylor McNeil, Reeve and Seth Hutchen as well as 7 great grandchildren.
