Obituary for Hope Battilana (Bond) Hope Dominica Bond Battilana passed from this world into eternal life on June 10, 2018. Hope was an only child born to Garland and Minnie Bond in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on June 27, 1936. Our mother moved from Mississippi to Arizona where she attended Tucson High School.

She was married June 18, 1955 to our father Joseph Battilana who preceded her in death in 1995. Mother is a retiree of the Maricopa Country Attorney’s Office and had previously worked for Valley National Bank and Good Samaritan Hospital. She considered her greatest achievement to be her four children; Karen Baroni (Jim), Joan Reger (Bill), Mark Battilana (Trish) and Dino Battilana (Liz).

We, along with her grandchildren and great children, will miss her deeply. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Basilica 231 N. 3rd St. Phoenix, AZ, on June 27, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
