Hope’s Obituary Dallas – Esperanza (Hope) Mondragon Molina, 91, passed away Thursday, May. 16, 2019. Esperanza Mondragon Molina was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and grandmother.

Hope was a kind and loving woman. Hope enjoyed so many things in life. She was no stranger to traveling and enjoyed exploring all regions of the world.

Her love for music was strong and she shared that love often. Hope loved the music of her culture, Mariachi music, and she loved Frank Sinatra and the Big Band era music. Family members remember Hope as a great cook, so good in fact she even opened a restaurant with her husband, the restaurant was affectionately named Esperanza.

Whether it was a ceramic statue she painted or a rosary for friends and loved ones, Hope also enjoyed creating and did so regularly. Hope’s sense of style and the way she conducted herself as a businesswoman and person was always done so in a very elegant and ladylike manner. Hope was always involved with the activities of her family.

She enjoyed watching after and spending quality time with her many nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Hope loved her husband Jesse. There wasn’t a day that went by that these two lovebirds weren’t joined by the hip.

Never wanting to leave each other’s side. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Mondragon; mother, Angela Contreras; sisters, Navidad Gonzales, Consuelo Perez, Angelita M. Martinez, and Margaret Mendoza; brothers, Robert Mondragon, Ascension Mondragon and Ignacio Mondragon. She is survived by husband, Jesse Molina Sr. brother, Arthur Mondragon (wife Carmen); sisters-in-law, Stepson, Jesse Molina Jr., and many loving Nephew and Nieces and grandchildren.
