DATELINE: KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Horace Franklin Rayfield Horace Franklin Rayfield, 69, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 27, 2019 at his home. He was born in Cherokee County, SC, to the late James Luther Rayfield and Betty Bratton Rayfield and was preceded in death by loving wife of 23 years, Linda Bridges Rayfield. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Moore and Sandra Bowen.

Horace retired from Pharr Yarns after more than 20 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Horace was an avid NASCAR fan and loved #42 Kyle Larson.

He also enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Horace was a devoted and loving husband, Father and grandfather and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
