Howard Charles Antonio Nugent was born on January 17th 1951, in Kingston Jamaica. He departed this life on April 17th 2018 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He had a real passion for working even though he was sick for many years.

He always looked forward to going to work. While in the hospital his mantra was “I have to get back to work”. For those who knew him well he was considered to have vast knowledge in numerous fields and was sometimes referred to as Dr. Nugent.

He was a trained chef and also taught adults to cook at the YMCA. He worked at several medical centers in New York, Beth Isreal Medical Center, Long Island College Hospital, and Brookdale Hospital. He was also a welder and a trained photographer and in his later years he returned to school and studied to be a plumber and a locksmith.

He was always in demand by his numerous clients in Brooklyn and New Jersey. His sisters often remember during intense debates on political topics Howard would loudly state”your not listening to me listen to what I’m saying to u ! ” We his sisters would always laugh out loud after he made that utterance.

Howard always had an hilarious spin on today’s political news. Howard leaves behind his three sisters Sonia Judith, Constance nieces Wendy, Dyani and Kristal. Nephews Timothy and Richard.

He was unmarried and had no children. Our Almighty Father needed a good plumber, so he called him home. May he be received into his loving care and find eternal peace.
