Howard’s Obituary Howard Nelson Arnold, age 96 of Fairfield, OH passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born on March 1, 1923 in Colerain Township, Ohio the son of Pearl and Margaret (Lockwood) Arnold. He graduated from Fairfield High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He married Marjorie Betz and was employed for many years at the Southwestern Ohio Water Company. Howard enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Arnold, one brother Robert Arnold, and one sister Virginnia Summers.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Grant (Chris Satterthwaite) and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Venice Cemetery in Ross, Ohio.
