Ida Nell Menghini, 89, of Taylor Springs, IL passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at 10:10 a.m., at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab, Hillsboro, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Hillsboro, IL.

Mrs. Menghini was born on September 12, 1929, in Hillsboro, IL, to the late William H. and Mabel (Durbin) Moroney. She was a Graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, IL. Mrs. Menghini is survived by three children, Janet (Husband John) Martincic, Hillsboro, IL, Ronald (Wife Lisa) Menghini, Hillsboro, IL, and Roger Menghini, Taylor Springs, IL; four grandchildren, Melissa Durbin (Fiance Roger Rice), Hillsboro, IL, John (Wife Erin) Martincic III, Dawson, IL, Benjamin (Wife Blakeley) Menghini, Greenbay, WI, and Denee (Husband Ben) Bowers, St. Louis, MO; five great grandchildren, Alex Durbin, Sydney Durbin, Devan Martincic, Keaton Martincic, and Cora Martincic; two sisters.

Lela Pesko, and Kay (Husband Harvey) Payne, all of Taylor Springs, IL; and one brother, Wayne Moroney, Taylor Springs, IL. Mrs. Menghini was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hasting J. Moroney, William Maroney Jr., Kenneth Moroney, and Thomas F. Maroney, and one sister in infancy, Nina Moroney. Memorials may be given to Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL, and to the activity fund at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Taylor Springs, IL.
