Ila Mae “Pat”‘s Obituary Ila Mae “Pat” Monk Marshall, 93, lifelong resident of Cabot, died Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born July 9, 1925 in Cabot to the late Thomas B. and Maybelle Blakney Monk. Mrs. Marshall was a member of First Baptist Church in Cabot.

She had various occupations throughout her life including helping Merrill run the family dairy farm. In retirement, they enjoyed visiting state parks where they camped, fished and made new friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia McClain, brothers, Robert and J.T. Monk and an infant sister.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband of 76 years, Merrill Marshall; sons, Thomas (Martha) Marshall and Kenneth (Cathy) Marshall; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and son-in-law Charles McClain. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the chapel of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend Dick Avey officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
