Obituary for Ingrid Boerger Ingrid Boerger RACINE-Ingrid (nee: Gall) Boerger, 99, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Primrose Assisted Living on June 28, 2018. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on July 21, 1918 the daughter of the late Walter and Helga (nee: Eckman) Gall. Ingrid was a graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1936”.

She was united in marriage to her first husband, Henry Calvelli on July 27, 1940. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1972. She then married Fred Boerger on October 28, 1978, who preceded her in death on February 18, 1989.

Ingrid found great enjoyment in traveling throughout the United States and Europe; cruises, including Alaska, Panama Canal and the Amazon. Ingrid is survived by her children, Marilyn (Myron) Topalian of Racine, Nancy (Jeff) Sweet of Franksville, John (Joyce) Calvelli of North Prairie, WI and stepdaughter, Kathy Bardenhagen. She is further survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren, in addition to other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter and step-son-in-law. Private services for Ingrid will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Ingrid in a special way may direct memorials to Primrose Assisted Living, 1775 N. Newman Road, Racine, WI 53406.
