Ingrid J. Kirkegaard, 59, of lake Geneva, Wisconsin died unexpectedly at her house on February 18th, 2019. Born Ingrid Kirkegaard on February 24th, 1959 to the late Peder and Ruth (Josephsan) Kirkegaard in Lake Forrest, Illinois. Ingrid was a member of the graduating class 1978 from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Illinois.

Ingrid was an amazing woman. She ran her own cleaning business, she loved to sew and make flower arrangements. Ingrid loved to spend time up north in the Land-O-Lakes area but there was no love stronger then the love she had for her dog Coco.

1 sister survives Ingrid: Katherine (Carl) Paglini of Elkhorn, Wisconsin and 2 brothers: Kim (Vicky) Kirkegaard of Middleton, Wisconsin and Mark (Alison) Kirkegaard of Woodriff, Wisconsin. Ingrid was preceded in death by her father, Peder in 2016 and her mother Ruth in 2005. Services for Ingrid will be Saturday February 23rd, 2019 at 2:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm till the time of services. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation to either the American Heart Association, a link has been provided below, or to the Family to help offset the funeral cost.
