Irene Hunter Meadows, age 98 of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1919, daughter of the late Ray Hunter and the late Oma Camp Hunter. She was known by many as “Mama Rene”.

Irene worked as a Records Clerk for Bell Bomber (now known as Lockheed Martin), she was the first female board member of the Georgia Farm Bureau during her career. She was a lifelong homemaker and worked on the family farm.
