Obituary for Irma Mendietta Cavazos Irma Mendietta Cavazos, 82, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away September 24, 2018 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on November 18, 1935 in Kingsville, TX to Candido and Virginia Mendietta. She was a retired homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel G. Cavazos Jr.; three sons, Jesus Cavazos, Jose M. Cavazos, and Daniel G. Cavazos III; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Cavazos; one brother, Jose “Coche” Mendietta; three sisters, Teresa Escobedo, Lydia Gonzales, and Leonor Mendietta. Survivors include one son, Juan Manuel (Janie) Cavazos of La Porte; two daughters, Noelia (David) Gonzalez and Noemi (Fred) Ortiz of Kingsville; one daughter-in-law, Sylvia Cavazos of La Porte; one sister, Hilda M. Garza of Kingsville; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Jaime Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, John Michael Cavazos, Andre Ortiz, J.D. Cavazos, and Adrian Ortiz.

Honorary Pallbearers are Christian Gonzalez, Erik Cavazos, Ethan Cavazos, Aaron Infante, R. J. Colin, Alex Barrientes, and D.J. Turner. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 09-27-2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, 09-27-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 09-28-2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating. Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery. Under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
