Obituary for Ysabel “Chelita” Ramos Ysabel “Chelita” Ramos, 97, of Kingsville, TX passed away October 11, 2018 in Kingsville, TX. She was born on October 5, 1921 in Ricardo, Texas to Irineo and Gregoria Ybarra. She was a self-employed owner and operator of Community Grocery & Market for 60 years.

She was also a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and St. Martin Catholic Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eluterio “E.R.” Ramos; four sisters, Irene Trevino, Idolina Heras, Ysaura Luna, and Petra Martinez; three brothers, Isidoro Ybarra, Irineo Ybarra Jr., and Juan Ybarra. Survivors include one son, Jose Leonel “Lico” (Belinda) Ramos of Kingsville; one brother, Israel (Mary Lou) Ybarra of Flour Bluff; four sisters, Inez Lerma of Kingsville, Ignacia Quinones of Kingsville, Virginia (Darrell) Marking of Denton, and Hilda (Abraham) Flores of Kingsville; eight grandchildren, Lee Ellen (Alex) Colin of Laredo, Joe Eluid Ramos of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Joe Gilbert (Alison) Ramos of Lago Vista, TX, Ysabel (Adrian) Ruiz, Jose Leonel “Joey” Ramos Jr. of Austin, Eian “E.R.” Ramos, Cyndee Rodriguez, Norma Linda (Steven) Alaniz; seventeen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; four great-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, 10-14-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, 10-14-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10-15-2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.
