She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Mission Church in Ricardo. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Pedro “Pete” G. Velasquez Jr. of Kingsville; one daughter, Lorena (Frank) V. Bumgarner of Kingsville; one son, Omar (Nelda) Velasquez of San Diego; one brother, Doroteo “Kino” (Christina) Rios of Corpus Christi; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wed.

, 11-07-2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Wed. , 11-07-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thurs. , 11-08-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
