Obituary for Isabel G. Montalvo Isabel G. Montalvo, 67, of Kingsville, TX passed away on May 26, 2018 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on October 23, 1950 in San Diego, TX to Guadalupe and Elodia Garcia. She was a retired custodian after 27 years at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

She was preceded in death by her son, Oscar Montalvo Jr.; two brothers, Jesus and Rene Garcia; one sister, Carmen Barrera; father-in-law, Jesus Montalvo; mother-in-law, Petra Montalvo. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Oscar Montalvo of Kingsville; three daughters, Patricia (Steve) Sheward of The Woodlands, Samantha A. Montalvo, and Glenda G. Montalvo both of Kingsville; one brother, Guadalupe Garcia Jr. of San Antonio; one sister, Graciela Garcia of San Diego; eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 05-31-2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, 05-31-2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 06-01-2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating and Deacon Raul Rosales assisting. A cremation will follow with a private burial at a later date.
