OBITUARY Ivalo Drobnick March 27, 1917 – November 15, 2018 Ivalo Drobnick brought joy to the lives around her over the past 101 years. She was born on March 27, 1917 in Hinckley, MN to Ludwig and Mildred (Mitchell) Schaefer. Raised in Eveleth, MN with her five brothers and sisters, she married Anthony (Tony) Drobnick at the age of 20 and resided in Gilbert, MN, where they welcomed a daughter and a son.

Ivalo and Tony moved to Seattle in 1940 and added another son to their family. Ivalo was an avid homemaker and worked for many years outside the home. She was widely known for her pies, her sewing, her love for her family, and her faith.

Ivalo and Tony celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1987, three years before Tony’s passing. Together they raised three children, Jackie (Ray), Jack (Eunice), and Greg (Jan). Ivalo fiercely loved her seven grandchildren and her ten great-children.

Each of them can name one of her pies as their favorite. She lives on in the hearts of her loved ones. Her memories are now ours.
