Ivan’s Obituary Ivan Shuck, age 92, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruby Shuck; brother, Leland Shuck. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Doug Shuck, Greta and Robert Huyser, Brad Shuck and Sue Grinage, Walt and Darlene Shuck; grandchildren, Anita and Kevin Faber, BJ and Allie Shuck, Allison Huyser, Jeff and Lindsey Shuck, Luke and Jessica Shuck, Don Shuck, Tony Shuck; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Darrell Shuck; sister-in-law, Betty Dyk; many nieces and nephews.

Ivan served his country in the US Navy during WWII. After his service he was employed by Alloytek for 47 years. After retiring he worked as a bus driver for Hudsonville Public Schools for 28 years.

Funeral services for Ivan will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at 11:00 A.M. at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426, with Pastor Rich McCarrell officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
