IVY M. MILESKI Ivy M. Mileski, age 87, passed away at New Dawn Retirement Center in Dover, Ohio on May 27, 2018, following a decline in health. Ivy was a 13 year resident of Dennison, Ohio. She was born in Easton, PA and graduated from Easton High School in 1948, and Easton Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1951.

She worked in many capacities as a nurse, her favorite was an industrial nurse. Ivy was the daughter of the late Ronald and Mabel Onley. She is survived by her daughter, Frances “Penny” Surber, and son-in-law William “Bill” Surber; grandson Nathan (Lisa) Surber; granddaughter Julie (Scott) Murray; and three great grandsons, Luke and Samuel Murray and Kane Surber.

She is also survived by her younger sister, Shirley Gardner and her children, Amy (Rick) Crake, and Lance (Betsy) Gardner and their children, Sean, Andrew and Margaret. She is also preceded in death by her elder sister, Sarah Onley. Private family services will be held at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville on May 31, with the Rev.

Mark Unrue and Rev. Christine Johnson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Easton, PA.

Memorials may be directed to the Fry’s Valley Moravian Church, 594 Fry’s Valley Road SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio. The family would like to thank all the staff at New Dawn for their dedication to the care of Ivy over the past 14 months.
