J L Jones Montgomery, AL – Funeral service for J L Jones, 77, will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Daniel Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Jones passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 unexpectedly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Sally Annette Jones, son, Daniel Jay Jones, 5 brothers, and 6 sisters. Mr. Jones was a deacon at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL.

He was a lifelong bowler and loved gardening and music. He is survived by his son, Russell Wayne (April) Jones of Montgomery, AL; daughter, Angela Marie (Tom) Lawrence of Burlington, WI; brother, Ervin Jones of Sylacauga; eight grandchildren, Magan Perez, Travis Lawrence, Chase Lawrence, Christopher Jones, Cody Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Tyler Stodghill, Rebecca Stodghill; and great-granddaughter, Raelynn Jones. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
