J. “Trini”‘s Obituary J. Trinidad Zaragoza “Trini” May 23, 1952 – February 4, 2019 Trini was born on May 23, 1952 in Panindicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico. He passed away on February 4, 2019 at Barrows Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Diana Meraz, son Richard, daughter Nancy, seven grandchildren (Gina, Thomas, Samantha, Trina, Joseph, Danielle, and Nathan), and four great grandchildren (April, Delilah, Ashley, and Chelsea). He is also survived by two brothers (Gonzalo and Gerardo) and five sisters (Yolanda, Leah, Esther, Ruth, and Susanna). He was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Quirina and his son Bobby.

Memorial services will be held at Desert Valley Mortuary on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Private viewing will be from 5:00-6:00 pm. Public viewing will be from 6:00-9:00 pm with the rosary at 7:00 pm.

Mass will be at Templo De Oracion in Somerton, AZ on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:00 am. Pallbearers will be Richard Meraz, Thomas Felkner, Joseph Felkner, Trina Meraz, Gonzalo Zaragoza, and Gerardo Zaragoza. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Meraz Sr., Frankie Ornelas, Raymond Acosta, Jose “Tavo” Luna, Chris Zaragoza, and Diana Acosta.
